Senior Python Backend Developer – Data Processing & Automation (65-90.000 Kč)

Do you have experience with backend development and a passion for working with large-scale data sets? We're looking for a Senior Developer who enjoys working with modern technologies and wants to build automated tools for analyzing data from a variety of online sources.

Our work environment is friendly and open to English-speaking colleagues. Czech is not required, but it is definitely a plus—especially for team communication and collaboration with Czech-speaking colleagues.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop internal applications to streamline the work of our data specialists
• Collaborate on technical documentation related to application development
• Create tools for automated data extraction from web sources, including the Dark Web
• Work with large datasets indexed in Elasticsearch and analyze them using TensorFlow
• Focus primarily on backend development and business logic

Requirements:

• Secondary school or university degree in IT or a related field
• Proven commercial experience with Python development
• Preferably experience working with Hadoop-based projects
• Solid understanding of relational and non-relational databases (e.g., MySQL, MongoDB, Redis)
• A senior-level approach – deep technical knowledge and the ability to solve complex problems independently
• Proficient in English – ability to communicate with colleagues, team leads, and understand documentation
• Preferred form of cooperation is full-time employment (HPP); for freelance contracts, daily on-site presence is required

Nice to Have:

• Previous experience in a similar role
• Knowledge of JavaScript / React
• Czech language skills – a plus for communicating effectively with the team and local colleagues
