Trade marketing manager

Prime confectionery brand, our valued client, is searching for a candidate to perform as a Trade Marketing Manager. The overall responsibility being the development of a category strategy for multiple brands in order to contribute to company´s growth within the confectionery category.

The brand delivers to all major retail stores and is sold via chain retailers, smaller retail units and whole sellers.

TRADE MARKETING MANAGER

Your tasks:

- Develop category strategy aligning with company´s strategy
- Autonomously prepare and initiate space management projects
- Act as an internal advisor to Sales and Marketing department (trade actions, materials visibility, business information, category management and such), close cooperation with KAM
- Develop and produce cost effective POS materials (regular and special promotions)
- Monitor competition, research changes in given category and effectively use data provided by third party (Nielsen etc.)
- Perform ad hoc analyses, conduct shopper research and trade communication
- Deliver specialized marketing training to Sales or Marketing department
- Identify new opportunities and areas for improvement by conducting store visits (CZ a SK market)

Your profile:

- Experience on similar position is a must
- Strong background in marketing analyses
- Extensive experience with developing and measuring promotional strategies, setting up tactics and carrying on with implementation
- High level of organizational skills and proven experience in coordinating cross-departmental trade related activities including new product launch, customer meetings etc.
- Experienced user of retail audit data systems
- Self-driven, independent and target oriented personality
- Ability to relate to people across different level of the organization
- Ability to clearly set goals for Sales team
- Czech or Slovak native, English B2+
