Information about the position

Job description, responsibilities and duties

- Develops high standard sourcing and procurement activities that support key business objectives,
- Exercises good working knowledge of goods, services and sources in the environment of demanding industry,
- Analyses international market of potential suppliers, collecting information to create database with necessary data to support company sourcing needs,
- Negotiate long-term contracts with key suppliers worldwide to fix commercial terms, suppliers’ performance and necessary legal aspects,
- Directs and coordinates the activities of personnel engaged in sourcing instruments, systems, parts and structures, raw materials and other components.

Key result areas/detailed job objectives:
• Market analysis and selection of new suppliers,
• Revision of procurement strategies based on changing market conditions,
• Implement best practices in sourcing activities and supplier management to support commercial and operational objectives,
• Negotiate long-terms contracts with key suppliers to fix the commercial, quality and performance terms in order to stabilize supply chain,
• Maintaining strong senior level working relationships with strategic suppliers to assure cost, quality, and delivery targets are met,
• Run projects focused on consolidation and streamlining of supply chain or cost reduction in line with the company and/or programs’ strategy,
• Overseeing and facilitating the development and execution of sourcing strategies across all commodity categories including targets, timelines and resource plans.

Personality requirements and skills

• At least 5 year experience on similar position in a technical/manufacturing company,
• University degree,
• Fluent English,
• Excellent knowledge of Sourcing Management practices, strong commercial background, basic legal knowledge, knowledge of Aerospace supply chain market as an advantage, experience with international market is must,
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word),
• Experience with leading and motivating team to deliver good performance,
• Excellent communication and analytical skills, organization and planning skills,
• Initiative, negotiation skills, accountability for quality, flexibility, responsibility,
• Precision, reliability, motivation and willingness to learn,
• Can do approach.
