Job description, responsibilities and duties
We are currently looking for a new Training Specialist to join our established team.
The main responsibility of the Training Specialist is to support local L&D Senior managers and L&D Business Partners with administrative tasks related to organizing agreed trainings, in accordance with the geography´s training plan or needs.
In this role you will be responsible for:
-Coordinating schedules with internal/external trainers and managers or business stakeholders.
-Handle “On demand trainings” especially gathering the interest for existing trainings.
-Covering the end-to-end process (from initiating the training till successful completion, including follow up communication, feedback survey and storage of the training material).
-Managing wait lists, enrollments and cancellations.
-Communicating with learners by sending invitations, agreeing changes to enrollments, etc.
-Tracking approvals, pre-work assignments, test scores or similar depending on the training.
-Acting as a facilitator for selected programs on virtual platforms (introducing and closing the meeting, contributing where applicable)
-Reporting on organized trainings, including statutory reporting.
-In case of classroom trainings making all the necessary arrangements (training facility, accommodation, catering, etc.).
-Any other administrative tasks related to training management (e.g. the management of local grants, Newsletters, where applicable, competence assessments).
-Other adequate tasks as allocated by Service Manager/Team Leader.

-Fluent working language skills in written and spoken English and Finnish
-Ability to effectively communicate about learning and development opportunities to different stakeholders.
-Good organizational skills.
-Excellent collaboration and cross-cultural skills.
-Ability/Potential to train/facilitate.
-Proactive way of working with ability to work independently.
