Job description, responsibilities and duties

We are seeking open-minded experienced leader to accept the challenge in roll-out of first international primary school in Kosice, Slovakia from school year 2020/21 and preparing it for International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme accreditation.

Job details:
- Provide principled, effective educational leadership within the school
- Employ excellent organisational and managerial skills to motivate and help
lead the faculty and staff
- Promote academic excellence and provide a supportive and creative
atmosphere to cultivate a life-long love of learning
- Provide leadership in IB PYP accreditation process
- Ensure that teaching and assessing are focused on understanding
- Mentor faculty as well as encourage their professional learning and growth
- Supervise and evaluate faculty and staff members
- Lead recruitment of faculty and staff
- Communicate effectively (spoken and written) with students, faculty, parents,
colleagues, and broader community
- Create an efficient, productive and caring atmosphere where all students and
faculty have opportunities to be recognised for their best efforts
- Gather validating information that enables a proactive approach to problem
solving and the determination of future initiatives
- Coordinate future expansion hand-in-hand with founder
- Be an active participant and supporter of student activity programs and parent
events
- Build a culture of care, collaboration and trust
