Lebensversicherung von 1871 a. G. München (LV 1871) understands itself as a specialist for innovative life-, pension- and occupational disability insurances. We, the IT department of LV 1871, connect established technologies (Java EE, Hibernate, Spring,…) with modern tools and frameworks (Angular2, JQuery, Rest) to build stable and durable business-applications: customer portal, workflow-automatisation, remuneration system, consisted system.

We love to learn and gain experience. In 2002, we introduced eXtreme programming with Kent Beck and since 2008 we work with scrum. Two years ago we started our dojo-series. We put all the experience we gained into projects that take LV 1871 forward.

Software Developer Backend System (C2)

Your role

• You will be part of an agile scrum-team which develops a java/JEE backend system for Administration of fond based insurances.
• You will be analysing processes together with the other developers and implementing optimal technical solutions.
• In your team you will develop test-driven and strive for a high code quality as a requirement for continuous integration and continuous deployment.

Your skills

• You have studied computer science, have an appropriate education and look back to some years of work experience as a successful software developer.
• You are experienced in Java and JEE, persistence-frameworks (e.g. hibernate) and modern techniques (e.g. web services with REST or SOAP).
• You speak German or English on a business fit level.
