Job description, responsibilities and duties
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Being involved in projects focusing on server-side development, with various elements of web development
• Delivering changes whilst making business users an integral part of the application design process
• Understanding the overall system design and contributing to the system architecture
• Being responsible for a significant area of code as part of the project remit
• Leading a small team of developers and assigning project tasks to them
• Identifying and implementing major improvements to existing procedures and team processes to enhance efficiency
• Writing well-structured, high quality and performing code
• Identifying and escalating issues and risks in a timely manner to the development/project manager so that project risk can be mitigated with minimal impact
PROFILE
• Advanced MS SQL T-SQL skills
• Excellent knowledge of .NET, .NET Core and C#
• Good knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming, with exposure to design patterns
• Ideally have knowledge of Elastic Search, MongoDB, Kafka
• Preferably have good knowledge of React and Typescript
• Knowledge of source control tools, full knowledge of the software development life cycle
• Excellent written and verbal English language communication skills
