Accountant for GL – attractive salary and benefits

This role is responsible for all aspects of financial accounting operations for headquarter, including the production of periodic financial reports and maintenance of accounting records, processes and systems to support the accuracy of financial results in compliance with IFRS and local Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), including coordinating and ensuring compliance with local tax and treasury requirements, specific to the market or country.

Details of the position:

• Regular month-end closing activities: cost and revenue accruals/deferrals, recording, cost allocation, various adjustments

• General Ledger accounts reconciliations

• Pre-Billing initiations

• Tax evidence

• Reporting

• Preparations for the audit

• Communication through the company

• Min. high school education (especially in economy)

• Experiences with SSC or with international cooperation is advantage

• Bookkeeping or accounting experience (GL, AP, AR or fixed assets)

• Good verbal and written communication skills in English (especially in accountant terminology)

• Big advantage – knowledge of German or French, Spanish, Italian, Dutch

• Required knowledge of an accounting standards of the Czech Republic; GAAP of other countries is advantage

• Performance, independence, problem solving ability, organizational skills

• Work with PC, experiences with an accounting program (especially SAP)
