Job description, responsibilities and duties

The Immigration Specialist will:

- effectively manage all the aspects of the work permit application process for a high volume of new employees
- ensure effective hiring and administration of Foreign National employees
- be a Central Communication Point between HR department, Hiring Managers, Foreign Nationals, Staffing and Legal for immigration requirements and procedures
- interact with all the mentioned stakeholders and communicate complex immigration requirements to clients
- ensure that immigration paperwork is filled in accurately and in a timely manner
- use MS Excel tools to prepare reports and provide metrics for analysis in decision-making
- be knowledgeable of current laws and their impact on the hiring and administration of foreign employees
- use creativity, experience and good judgement to make decisions with the positive impact on business

We are looking for a results-oriented and highly motivated Immigration Specialist (Foreign National Account Manager) for managing the Immigration Program of a large international company. You will work single-handedly with almost no supervision.

Personality requirements and skills

- Bachelor's degree
- 3 years of experience in HR
- strong knowledge of MS Office tools
- advanced English equivalent to C1
- knowledge of the Czech immigration laws and regulations
- knowledge of the process and requirements to obtain an Employee Card (Work permit) in the Czech Republic
- ability to work independently and with minimal supervision
- ability to meet deadlines under pressure and manage multiple priorities
- strong oral and written communication skills, strong cross-cultural understanding, strong problem-solving skills

Preferred qualifications:

- experience with managing large immigration caseloads
- experience with delivery of global immigration services
