Job description, responsibilities and duties

As the Payroll Administrator you will:

- collect payroll relevant information and update internal databases
- administer Time-recording tools/processes
- submit payroll data to payroll provider
- monitor payroll process and intervene when obstacles occur
- be prepared to clarify/justify payments
- maintain auditable files
- produce and distribute news and communication materials targeted at the employees
- establish, implement and administer policies, procedures and systems for confidentially calculating, preparing and distributing payrolls
- implement HR related tasks, processes and projects and ensure that day-to-day operations run smoothly
- understand organizational culture, vision, structure, philosophy, values, code of ethics and apply them in diverse situations
- create an environment of improvement encouraging self and others to exceed expectations
- work across organizational boundaries to achieve objectives

We are looking for a detail-oriented and highly motivated Payroll Administrator for managing the payrolls in a large international company. You will be responsible for data handling, analyzing and reporting and you will communicate with various stakeholders.

Personality requirements and skills

Job requirements:

- fluent in English, Czech (Slovak)
- knowledge of laws and regulations regarding HR practices, payrolls and labour market and be able to provide employees with advice
- 2 years experience with an HR/payroll function, experience with data handling, analyzing and reporting
- able to prioritize workload
- advanced user of MS Office Excel and experience with other Office tools
- knowledge of HR application systems used for delivery of services to internal and external clients: e.g. SAP, SENET, ESP, FMLA Systems, PeopleSoft, eLink, Taleo, Talent Track, PCSims, Application Tracking
- ability to identify the root cause of problems in a timely and accurate manner and offer a successful solution
- ability to work under stress and with strict deadlines
- ability to work independently but also to be a team player
