You will be based in our Prague office as part of our payroll team. The payroll team is fully responsible for A – Z payroll agenda and tax reconciliation for 500+ employees based in our Prague office. You will work closely with accounting, HR and other teams in the office and in the region. One of your priorities in the following year is to upscale the payroll and tax reconciliation process in our Prague office.

  • You will develop and drive professional payroll function that is scalable and flexible to meet the company needs.

  • In this role, you will identify and recommend updates/enhancements to payroll processing software, systems and procedures. 

  • You will implement, maintain and review payroll processing systems to ensure timely and accurate processing of payroll transactions including salaries, benefits, garnishments, taxes, and other deductions.

  • You will ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll updates including new hires, terminations and changes to pay rates, overtimes, meal allowances.

  • You will prepare and maintain accurate records and reports of payroll transactions.

  • You will also ensure compliance with global firm policies and local laws.

  • You will facilitate audits by providing records and documentation to auditors and Czech authorities.

  • You will register and deregister foreign affiliates for SSHI payments as well as calculate Czech SSHI on behalf of foreign affiliates.

  • You will also arrange for A1 and CoC. You will also facilitate taxation of tax non-residents (split payroll).

Profil kandidáta


  • Master’s degree in accounting, business administration or related field

  • 5+ years of experience managing the payroll agenda of an international company (500+ employees)

  • Strong analytical and statistical skills; proficiency in obtaining, organizing and analyzing data to make fact-based decisions

  • Deep controllership/statutory compliance knowledge (tax, labor code, social security, garnishments, pension, benefits, terminations)

  • MS Office knowledge especially advanced MS Excel; familiarity with SAP is an advantage

  • Confident and decisive decision-making skills; ability to stand by and explain decisions through resistance of involved stakeholders; ability to find compromises

  • Proficiency in English and Czech or Slovak
