E-commerce Manager for CZ

Do you have experience working as an E-commerce Manager in a larger company operating in retail (ideally non-food consumer goods area)?

Do you speak English very well?

Do you live in western or central Bohemia (west of Prague)?
As retail e-commerce Channel Manager you will be responsible for overseeing and leading the e-commerce (e-shop) sales channel within sporting goods retail chain. You will be in charge of sales performance of this channel and handling decision-making regarding the strategy of sales via website.

What you will be responsible for ?

  • Mother company e-commerce (digital) strategy implementation and localization (with the respect of local trends, customer, KPIs and competition) in order to maximize clarity and ease of navigation for customers and sales performance.

  • The channel sales strategy and deployment: you will be in charge of developing sales strategy, creating category mix and merchandise assortment plans for the e-shop

  • Emphasis on reaching revenues, gross margins, mark-ups for all online concepts and sector profitability

  • Site experience (customers) - owning complete site experience, from presented stories, posting content, site functionalities, user experiences, product assortments, services and support

  • E-commerce services - Owning e-com retail shopping and shipping services, constantly increasing level of services that will accelerate purchasing decision but also support e-com P&L (shipping, return, exchange, payment method, reservations, gift cards etc.)

  • Build omnichannel approach within the team and the company

  • You will report directly to local Country Manager and E-commerce director in the company HQ abroad

Profil kandidáta

This is the position just for you if you can offer:

The e-commerce business knowledge (in retail environment ideally):

  • Omni-channel approach understanding and managing

  • Digital marketing fundamentals, Website management and ownership, Visual merchandising management

  • The channel P&L creation and management, ROI understanding and applying / demonstration of cost efficiency, deep understanding of reporting

Interpersonal and management skills:

  • Negotiation skills, stake holder management

  • Leadership, performance management, developing and motivating people

  • Organizational skills

Technical and language requirements:

  • Work in online environment, CMS, ERP (SAP), Project management tools, Salesforce, Google analytics tool utilization, advanced Excel skills

  • Advanced English language

  • Native or “like native” Czech language
