The company is a leading supplier of high-quality automotive accessories to customers across the world. They have been in business for over 45 years and pride themselves on commitment to customer satisfaction, quality products, and excellent service.

Our client is seeking an experienced Sales professional to lead small European sales team and drive revenue growth. The Sales Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing sales strategies, building, and maintaining relationships with key customers, and managing the sales team to meet and exceed sales targets.

This position will be directly subordinate to the GM Europe based in Prague – at the European distribution center based on the south-east outskirts of Prague.
BRIEF POSITION DESCRIPTION


  • Identify additional sales channels for the company´s and affiliated products.

  • Coordinate with EU and Head Office marketing team to ensure messaging and key activities represent demand and opportunities within the given market. Additional collaboration with UK office will be relevant.

  • Responsible for new product launches in EU market to ensure education, initial presentation, and follow through to capture market share of the appropriate product category.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES


  • Develop and implement sales strategies to drive revenue growth and meet or exceed sales targets.

  • Guides and directs sales specialists’ duties for stronger performance.

  • Internal communication coordination of sales team with other company´ Europe teams.

  • New product development with cooperation with technical department

  • Hire and manage sales specialists

  • Be active member of local Excom and help with company projects

  • HR responsibilities for several direct reports – taking care about direct report needs and communicate needs to supervisor

Profil kandidáta

POSITION REQUIREMENTS


  • Minimum 3 years of experience in sales team management

  • An excellent knowledge of English is a prerequisite, both verbally and in writing. Proficiency in other European languages is a big advantage. Czech or Slovak language is a must.

  • Previous experience in the automotive industry (importers, dealers, spare parts traders or producers of accessories) is highly desirable

  • Understanding of developing and cultivating a premium brand.

  • A good understanding of business principles and practices

  • Proficiency with computers and relevant software applications

  • Skilled in planning and organizing tasks and projects

  • Willingness to occasionally travel across Europe
