Junior Project Finance Specialist

Company builds and operates large-scale renewable energy plants. They already have more than 2GW being prepared for construction across four projects in Romania and Bulgaria – two solar, two onshore wind.

Right now, we are searching for a Junior Project Finance Analyst to join the Project Finance team in Prague. The team is currently comprised of 3 members. Upon joining you will be trained and mentored by a colleague who was in your shoes 1.5 years ago and has recently stepped into the role of a senior.

• Run, maintain, and develop project financial models to forecast cash flows, conduct valuations and model loan agreements.

• Conduct sensitivity analyses to assess the impact of various variables on the valuation of individual projects and of the overall portfolio.

• Analyse model outcomes to assess investment opportunities, in order to facilitate negotiations with lenders and support strategic decisions.

• Act as the key day-to-day intermediary between internal teams (including finance, technical, commercial, operations) and external consultants (technical, tax, legal, environmental, etc.) to collect and understand inputs and assumptions for the financial models.

• Provide logistical and analytical support for the debt, as well as M&A execution processes including due diligence organisation and mechanics, stakeholder logistical coordination and alignment, and any other ad-hoc execution tasks that may be required in the heat of transaction execution momentum.
