• Take lead of scrum teams
• Providing vision and direction to the Agile development team and stakeholders
• Plan and prioritize product feature backlog
• Development of the product
• Assess value, develop cases, and prioritize stories, epics
• Provide backlog management, iteration planning, and elaboration of the user stories
• Work closely with Product Management
• Lead the planning product release plans and set expectation for delivery
• Research and analyze market, the users, and the roadmap for the product
• Keep abreast with Agile/Scrum best practices

As Product Manager, you will be responsible for setting, prioritizing, and evaluating the roadmap set by the Product Management organization in order to ensure impeccable features and functionality of the product. The ideal candidate will be well versed in server and client platforms targeted to wireless operators and able to articulate the role of Smith Micro in the overall ecosystem.

Personality requirements and skills

• Previous product management working experience for a minimum of 2 years in a software company, ideally in the mobile space (IT/Telco, gaming, SW company, high tech stat-up)
• University education preferred in Computer Science, Engineering, or similar relevant field
• In-depth knowledge of Agile process, principles, and tools (Jira)
• B2C experience
• Outstanding communication, presentation, and leadership skills
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Perfect English language (written and spoken)
• Sharp analytical and problem-solving skills
• Creative thinker with a vision
