Job description, responsibilities and duties
Our client is one of the largest oil and gas companies on the global market. The Prague branch was established as an accounting and finance shared service centre. Its mission is to provide accounting services for all the subsidiaries in Europe. Currently, we are looking for an experienced accountant who is fluent in English and Bulgarian.
We offer variable work including several key activities such as:
- dealing with incoming and outgoing invoices
- transactional booking of AP/AR
- month end closing
- adherence to international standards
- corporate reporting
- cooperation with auditors

Requirements for the employee
Candidates with education suit the position
University education (Bachelor's degree)
Language skills
English - Upper intermediate (B2) and Bulgarian - Advanced (C1)
Personality requirements and skills
As a Senior Accountant you need to be fluent in English and Bulgarian since we operate also in Bulgarian market.
Education in Economics or Accounting is a must because you need to understand the work you will be doing.
Excel and computer skills in general are necessary because your work will be much more effective and pleasant.
You will enjoy the work more if you are reliable, committed and attentive to detail.
