In this position, you will be responsible for developing Medtronic’s global reporting and analytics capabilities for Pricing towards Best-in Class, serving complete, timely and insightful business analytics around Price, Margin and profitability to all Medtronic Businesses and Geographies. You will harmonize and automate associated work streams to maximize output, efficiency, and productivity, allowing business/geography resources to have more business partnering. You will take customer-centric proactive approach on establishing and strengthening visibility of developing new Key Performance Indicators, standard dashboards, and specific Pricing projects, partnering with commercial and finance teams oriented towards their business decision making.

A Day in the Life
  • Enhance Medtronic’s Global Pricing reporting suite, processes, and metrics across the Global Pricing function, ensuring sustainable implementation across our finance and commercial teams and driving towards a best-in-class Pricing function;
  • Perform data cleansing, aggregation, analysis, and visualization from large and varied data sources via advanced analytics tools; (60%)
  • Develop our suite of pricing reports, maximizing opportunities for automated distribution and utilization across the globe with the objective of ensuring better pricing decisions;
  • Provide regular and ad hoc pricing Key Performance Indicators analysis and reports for management both from a business as well as from operational efficiency perspective;
  • Continuously listen and engage the Global Pricing team as well as business leaders to ensure that Global Pricing Analytics team’s output delivers high quality and informative decision-making support;
  • Coordinate with all relevant business stakeholders to ensure alignment and support across functional areas such as finance, sales, marketing, reimbursement, and IT;
  • Proactively identify Pricing projects for a given organizational unit or geography, which can be useful in specific business actions, either tactically or strategically;
  • Learn and drive adoption of our Pricing Analytics tools across our Global Pricing organization.
Must Haves
  • 1-2 years of progressively responsible financial/data analysis and/or pricing experience in a large multinational company;
  • Excellent and very strong Excel and Power Point skills;
  • Structured Query Language (or Microsoft Query), Access knowledge (IT background);
  • Strong attention to details and accuracy and can-do attitude with continuous improvement;
  • English fluency required (spoken and written);
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, or IT.
Nice to Haves
  • Strong analytical skills and Business Acumen (knowledge of business performance, products, markets and customer needs);
  • Problem solving and decision making oriented based on outstanding written and verbal communication skills, the role entails dealing with a matrix environment with multi-cultural and multi-functional components;
  • Experience with Visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI) is preferred;
  • Experience with Snowflake and Alteryx is preferred;
  • Flexibility to switch between the tasks and working to deadlines;
  • Team player and quick learner with motivation for personal development;
