A Day in the Life
  • Assess the business needs in collaboration with the commercial, marketing, and educational teams to build a pool of KOLs (Key Opinion Leaders) that foster advocacy and deliver scientific content to the highest standards.
  • Map areas of expertise and maturity status, develop segmentation tools, and create personas.
  • Design development plans for rising stars and engagement plans for KOLs in Cranial and Spinal Technologies.
  • Create tracking mechanisms and develop performance dashboards based on relevant KPIs.
  • Engage and build rapport with KOLs in various therapeutic areas, collecting insights, identifying talents, and connecting internal and external stakeholders.
  • Act as a conduit between the global and Western Europe team to ensure that strategic and scientific objective value propositions are developed and articulated for Medtronic technologies through appropriate channels.
  • Develop Health care provider (HCP) briefing tools in collaboration with the marketing and education teams. Act as a liaison between the Cranial and Spinal technologies’ leadership and the relevant medical societies identifying opportunities for collaboration and building strategic partnerships.
Must Haves
  • Solid spinal and or cranial expertise background
  • 3+years of expertise at regional or European level
  • Strong sense of prioritization and focus
  • Adaptability and growth mindset
  • A high degree of business acumen with a strong focus on results and metrics
  • Strong team player and track record of working collaboratively to manage cross-functional, cross-business issues and generate impact through others
  • Fluent in English

The Principal Physicians relationship specialist, reporting to the Director of Customer Marketing Europe CST (Cranial and Spinal Technologies) Western Europe is responsible for planning, implementing, and measuring impactful strategies for Physicians development and engagement.
We are looking for a dynamic and creative candidate, with a strong strategic drive and a proven record of leading successful projects from ideation to execution in a European or regional environment. The successful candidate can be located in Switzerland or other country of the European Union.
