· Responsible for the finance team in one of the biggest plants within the group
· Hands on role to steer and manage the future development of the business

Job Description

· Reporting to the Plant Manager of the entity, with a functional line to the Group Financial Controller. Being a member of the Plant top management team.
· Responsible for Plant Controlling and Accounting
· Partnership with internal business partners (e.g. production, operations, logistics, purchasing, commercial, industrialisation, group functions, board members), external business partners (vendors, suppliers, service providers and customers, authorities, auditors) and other finance teams within international group with focus on improvement activities, efficiency and decision support
· Leadership to support and optimise the daily business and plant industrial performance, processes (material management, accounting, controlling, treasury) and their financial KPIs (gross margin, profitability, working capital)
· Optimisation of process flows, value streams' optimisation, procedures optimisation for accounting, controlling, operations, purchasing, ERP processes adjustment to current operational needs, ad-hoc reporting set up based on management and board requirements
· Plant management team support and education in their accountability for financial processes with focus on processes impacting the relationship within business and productivity optimisation
· Standardisation and improvement management regarding lean and sustainability policies and techniques
· Reporting for statutory (local Czech GAAP) and management (IFRS) purposes
· Deliver input and analysis to the reporting package (income statement, variance analysis, balance sheet, investment schedules) and operations reviews with the Group HQ
· Point of contact for group functions and local auditors, board members and financing institutions
· Budgeting and forecasting (Business Plan with latest market information and quotations, midterm monthly financing plan based on Business Plan and on latest customer forecasts)
· Support in RFQ process for Commercial and Project Teams
· Productivity actions implementation support (cost-out initiatives centred on reducing defects and eliminating waste and setting up, supervising and leading improvements), development of project roadmaps and work with multiple teams to implement effective long-term solutions which optimize the productivity of the team and process as well that of the business partners
· Finance processes and systems control - assure effective and efficient processes integration into system, supported by ERP or other tools that safeguard assets, providing timely and accurate financial information, integrity and compliance with company standards
· Projects budget follow up (implementation, start up and ramp up phase), analysis of deviations, process optimisation before start of production and productivity actions in serial life
· Treasury and cash-flow management, analysis and lead in financing process with banks, with focus on generating free cash flow opportunities
· Participation in strategic planning for plant development (scenarios calculations, what-if analysis, presentation preparation for board management) and operations reviews designed to identify expansion projects, changes in business trajectory, controllership and accounting risk
· Management, motivation and development of the Finance Department team

The Successful Applicant

· The candidate must be a qualified finance professional who has demonstrated his/her ability to play a key role in an organisation with responsibility for a strict financial control vis-à-vis the Plant Manager and the HQ
· Is pro-active and innovative in approach and recommendations towards solutions, with strong orientation towards the operations of the Company
· Good understanding of Financial Systems and Reporting
· Commercial/Business sense - strong understanding of numbers and what they mean - has credibility when talking and driving results
· Can work in close relationship with other functions in the company such as production, logistics, HR, etc.
· Shop-floor minded and hands-on approaches.
· ERP knowledge is important (company is using IFS)
· Understanding of material flows in ERP
· Good working knowledge of English and Czech
· IFRS experience
· Transition or turnaround experience (nice to have)
· Managerial experience (team management skills)
· International environment exposure
· Time efficiency (balance of analytical and action oriented)
· Tendency to the accuracy, precision in the final phase of activity
· Detail oriented and precise
· Wants to participate in driving business performance with the team
· Ability to communicate effectively and influence across all levels
· Stress resistance
· Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
