The NC State European Center in Prague is a Branch of NC State University, Raleigh, NC, USA, whose main focus is hosting study abroad students.

Title: Junior Accountant – Part time

Department: NC State University Global Engagement Office

Unit: NC State European Center in Prague

Proposed Effective Date: 1st of September, 2017

Working hours: flexible, minimum 20 hours per week

Responsibilites:

Checking the accuracy of accounting and tax documents
Processing and posting of received invoices and bank statements
Charging of petty cash and bank transactions
Entering payment orders
Billing month-end reconciliations
Communication with suppliers
Prepare month-end reports for parental company in the USA
Cooperation with external accounting company
Administrative support
Collaborate with colleagues in the U.S. to ensure consistent procedures and communication

Requirements:

Completed bachelor degree in accounting
Responsibility, accuracy, reliability, communicativeness, autonomy and proactive approach to problem solving
Fluent in Czech, with very good command of English (written and spoken)
User knowledge of MS Excel
Exhibit empathy and enthusiasm in interactions with colleagues and partners
