Nexteria is a Switzerland based company. We are opening a Branch office in Bratislava to help our local team remotely. We are looking for a passionate Support Engineer to join our Slovakian branch Office
Job brief
We are looking for a Support Engineer to develop and maintain our customers infrastructures. You will be part of a virtual team shared between Switzerland and Slovakia. This team is providing Managed Services and IT Projects for our customers.
In this role, you should have excellent problem-solving skills and thorough knowledge of network administration and architecture. If you’re also passionate about security and data protection, we’d like to meet you.
Your goal will be to establish networks that cater to customer needs.
Responsibilities
Support networks (LAN, WLAN, WAN)
Configure and maintain software, servers, routers and other network devices, including IP telephony
Monitor network performance and integrity
Resolve issues tiers of support have escalated by troubleshooting cloud and local infrastructure
Automate tasks and monitor their effectiveness
Communicate with users when needed
Maintain complete technical documentation
Solid background in Windows System administration and architecture
TCP-IP
knowledge in Firewall technology, mainly Cisco ASA and Fortinet
Windows System and VMware hypervisor are expected (vSphere)
Azure Cloud Administration
Office 365 (Messaging, Sharepoint & Onedrive)
Sharp troubleshooting skills
Ability to work independently
Organizational and mentoring skills
Willingness to learn new technology
You will have to deal every day with our customer and colleges in English and French. You must be fluent in reading/writing and talking. French knowledge is mandatory.
1st interview will occur via conf call. If your profile is kept, you will have to travel to Geneva for the last interview.
You must also agree to travel to Switzerland several times per year. This position also requires to be part of our on call duty shift. This will occur on week per month maximum and it is fully compensated.
