The person we seek needs to be able to bring an analytical, methodological and evaluation practices as well as new, innovative ideas and actively contribute to existing and potentially new programs and activities aiming better to assist marginalised groups in society in the Czech Republic. An ability to write project funding applications highly regarded.

Job Description:

The main role of the program officer/program analyst is to provide a quality assistance to the programs implemented by EPIC in the Czech Republic and sister organisations in Slovakia and Scotland.
The successful candidate will assist with the tasks related to program designing, program development and other activities aiming strategic development of the organisation. They are expected to come with the independent ideas which may be accommodated to the program strategy of the organisation. The successful candidate will be expected to write project funding submissions. They will have to be a positive self-starter willing to bring innovative ideas and energy to the role to make a difference in their community.
The successful candidate will work under supervision of the Central European Coordinator and report to them and where necessary to the General Manager International Services.

Main tasks:
• Assist with the design, planning and implementation of the specific program pillars
• Assist with the funding identification, writing funding applications and fundraising
• Assist with the production and dissemination/marketing of policy papers and program documents
• Assist with the design of specific social enterprise`s activities
• Organise activities including meetings, conferences, seminars and visits
• Write articles for EPIC web site
• Liaison with the relevant partners in the field of employment/labour policy and social economy
• Research information on the topics related to EPIC programs

An ability to write project funding applications highly regarded.

• University degree or higher tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline to the role
• Previous experience with volunteerism
• Proven interest in issues related to public policy, social inclusion, social economy and/or labour policy
• Excellent written communication skills, with analytical capacity and ability to synthesize a variety of information for the preparation of quality program documents
• Ideal candidate will be creative, enthusiastic, well organized, with excellent interpersonal skills and willingness to learn
• Fluent Czech and English language (both written and spoken) is essential

There will be a need for the successful person to travel within Europe to represent EPIC Assist o.p.s. at various project meetings or functions.
