Job description, responsibilities and duties


Key Responsibilities :

Operational Leadership

  • Lead and manage all daily plant activities across manufacturing, engineering, procurement, HR, and logistics.
  • Ensure that production planning is aligned with available capacity, customer demand, quality requirements, and on-time delivery (OTD) expectations.
  • Ensure smooth coordination between departments and resolve cross-functional issues promptly.
  • Monitor and manage plant costs and operational budget, ensuring cost efficiency and resource optimization.

Performance Management

  • Lead the development and implementation of the plant’s control tower and recovery plans to meet performance targets.
  • Define and monitor key performance indicators (OEE) related to efficiency, productivity, quality, and logistics.
  • Establish dashboards and reporting systems to track and communicate plant performance.
  • Implement corrective and preventive actions based on performance analyses.

Product Industrialization

  • Ensure the successful industrialization of new products, meeting quality, timeline, and cost targets.
  • Coordinate with R&D, engineering, and project management teams to support new product introductions.

Strategic Contribution

  • Participate in Group-level strategic meetings and projects, providing local insights and representing the site’s interests.
  • Translate Group strategy into actionable plans at the site level, aligning resources and priorities accordingly.

Team and Culture

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a multi-functional team, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Ensure appropriate staffing, training, and development plans are in place to support current and future operations.
  • Foster a safe, inclusive, and performance-driven work environment.

Compliance and EHS

  • Ensure compliance with local labor laws, health & safety regulations, and corporate policies.
  • Oversee the implementation of environmental, health, and safety (EHS) standards in alignment with company and legal requirements.

Meetings and Communication

  • Organize and lead regular operational and cross-functional meetings to drive progress on key initiatives.
  • Ensure clear communication of goals, responsibilities, and expectations throughout the plant.
  • Monitor the implementation of action plans and maintain accountability within the team.

Requirements for the employee

University education (Master's degree)

Educational Specialization

engineering, industrial management, or a related field.

Language skills

Slovak - Advanced (C1) and English - Advanced (C1) and French - Upper intermediate (B2)

Personality requirements and skills


Qualifications and Skills:

  • Master’s degree in engineering, industrial management, or a related field.
  • Minimum 12–15 years of experience in operations or plant management, in automotive industry is mandatory.
  • Strong knowledge of production planning, industrialization, lean manufacturing, and performance management.
  • Proven leadership experience in building and managing multidisciplinary teams.
  • Fluent in Slovakian, and English, French is a plus.
  • Hands-on, pragmatic, and results-oriented mindset with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Our new manufacturing site in Malacky will be kicked off on September 1st, 2026.
