Senior SQL Server DBA

We are seeking suitable candidate for the position of

Senior SQL Server DBA

with extensive experience in large and critical enviroments for a company delivering technology-driven solutions that drive digital transformation for banks, broker-dealers, asset and wealth managers and public companies.

The company is a part of the S&P 500 Index, emploxing over 14 000 associates in 21 countries.

Your Responsibilities:

• Planning for production storage and capacity management
• Create logical models and build physical models
• Installing and managing SQL server – all versions (2008, 2012, 2014, 2016, 2017, 2019)
• Configuring and administering of databases across the datacenters
• Resource governing MDW migrating SQL server from On-premises to cloud managing database
• Creating databases from the ground up design implement and operate database systems for performance and reliability
• Upgrade SQL Server from legacy version to latest versions
• Applying patches and service packs to SQL Server

The requirements:

• Communicative knowledge of English or German (at least B2 level)
• Good knowledge of SQL server internals and architecture
• Hands on experience on windows issues monitoring and troubleshooting
• Hands on experience on SQL clustering
• Demonstrate experience of working effectively with clients and internal teams to resolve issues
• MS SQL server experience in designing, coding and delivering database applications
• Operations automation with scripting - PowerShell
• Experience in configuring and maintaining the performance of large/critical MS SQL Server database applications
• Experience in writing and debugging complex SQL Stored Procedures
• Good knowledge in T-SQL scripting
• Good exposure in Database and SQL performance tuning , troubleshooting and resolving database issues conforming to client compliances and expectations
• Hands On experience with integration services, reporting services and analysis services
• Good experience in all HA DR solutions
• Good to have experience in cloud technologies like AWS, Azure etc.
• Experience of working within a controlled ITIL environment with good understanding of control processes and procedures
