Information about the position

Job description, responsibilities and duties

We are searching for expert with database background who will be engaged in activities across the traditional operating system, database or application boundaries. You’ll closely collaborate with the development and operations team on automation of development, maintenance and monitoring.

Your mission will be:

• Maintenance of databases of our development tools and databases
• Participate in the design and setup of the applications monitoring system, and conduct daily monitoring
• Analyze performance, troubleshoot and optimize databases (mainly PostgreSQL and MS SQL)
• Collaborate with development and operations teams on the automation of continuous delivery pipelines, tools administration, maintenance and upgrades

Requirements for the employee

University education (Bachelor's degree)

Language skills

English - Upper intermediate (B2)

Personality requirements and skills

• Experience with database administrations, optimization and tuning
• Experience in scripting and automation (e.g. with Python, Perl, bash, etc.)
• Linux administration experience
• Knowledge of virtualization, containerization and automated configuration management concepts
