AP Accounting Specialist with Hungarian and English

The AP Specialist will be responsible for processing operational transactions for Accounts Payable as well as for the independent maintenance of respective subledgers. Responsibilities will also include ad hoc analyses and issue resolution.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• have a solid understanding of financial processes and general accounting principles
• perform day-to-day financial transactions to ensure that unit/account level finances are maintained in an effective, up-to-date and accurate manner
• consistently strive to meet customer expectations and Service Level Agreements, make recommendations for streamlining processes by highlighting opportunities for improvements

THE RIGHT CANDIDATE WILL COVER THE FOLLOWING AREA:

• process accounts payable documents
• input credit and debit to SAP system
• reconcile processed work by verifying entries and comparing reports to balances
• charge expenses to accounts and cost centres by analysing invoice/expense reports

REQUIREMENTS

• min. high school education - accounting, finance, or similar
• experience in accounting (at least 1 year)
• C2 Hungarian and at least B2 English a must
• MS Excel - active user, knowledge of SAP highly appreciated
