Site reliability Engineer

There is an e-commerce platform handling more than 7,000,000 visitors per day and processing 8 orders per second when is busy. And with that come many technical challenges. But when you

• analyze the errors in the platform, infrastructure and in the code
• find the ways how to automate the processes to avoid them
• and propose new opportunities to achieve higher efficiency and stability of the platform,

you will make a big contribution on the improvement of our e-commerce “engine”.

Become SITE RELIABILITY ENGINEER of the applications development & support team about 80 people working from Brno city center offices. You will have the opportunities to:

o identify and actively participate on improvements across the application landscape and used technology stack
o measure and monitor availability, latency and overall system health
o looking for new technologies and approaches
o demonstrate you programming skills in multiple areas (web development, performance tuning, etc.)
o to be in constant contact with the Architecture team and Tech leads to consult with them proposed technological solutions

Does this role suit you? Well, if you have some good web development experience, you work very good on Linux, SQL & NoSQL and you have ever excelled in analytical thinking, you can say yes.

You will success with know-how of cloud technologies, DevOps culture and Varnish, RabbitMQ, CDN and the like.
