AUTOMOTIVE AUTONOMOUS PRODUCTION UNIT MANAGERS
Most area – Czech Republic
Mission : reporting the plant operations , you are in charge of one APU ( Autonomous Production Unit ) in a context of some organizational evolution , in a hi-tech environment , meaning that you ,
- are leading your production unit in a full autonomous way including the technical support, process and quality functions with a focus on Quality & Safety , Delivery & productivity
- involve and develop your people to work on a daily base by the standards , tools and advanced production systems , starting with basics like 5S , safety , QRQC , … , chasing scrap , … contributing to the building of a positive continuous improvement culture while the plant is evolving
- are yourself close to the field , seen as a “model” showing the directions , implementing the quality & safety culture , and supporting the production through your teams , with a focus on problem solving attitude at all levels
- stay open to the technical field , mainly plastics transformation equipment & process ; plus assembly
- engage your teams in the growth by training them , after recruiting , developing and retaining them
- manage your production through clear KPIs , searching for performance , productivity , going for initiative in a well-balanced way by having both the global picture and the shop floor presence , to organize , manage , anticipate , together with your people
- interact with the plant operations , contribute to strategy and plan , from all aspects that can impact the operations , its organization , including the clients aspects , the economical and people dimensions

Profile : Leader & Manager
- engineering education, generalist , mechanical , plastics , chemical , logistics … minimum level bachelor
- significant experience in production , operations ( 10 years +) within a multinational company , with exposure in automotive specificities , standards , culture , tools , … in a reference automotive company , tier one , OEM , … ideally already organized in Autonomous Production Units - APU
- successful experience in managing teams in operations , in a role of production manager , APU manager , … could be also logistics / supply chain manager , Maintenance , excellence / lean or planning , even quality depending on the type of experience and context
- well trained to automotive most advanced standards , systems , tools , from the basics to modern approach in problem solving
- leader in a lean management way for all aspects in the day to day
- strong effective quality & safety culture ; showing some interest in the product & process even if not expert ; knowledge of plastics transformation process is a plus
- fair with your people , driving them in a win-win attitude to make them proud to contribute to a successful story
- Czech language native or working language ; English is the language of the corporate
