Software Developer – AI / Computer Vision (Full-Stack, Remote)

The role

We are looking for a curious, hands-on full-stack software developer with junior to mid-level experience who wants to grow deeper into AI, computer vision, and modern software systems.

You will work on R&D and product-facing initiatives such as:

• AI and computer vision experiments and prototypes

• API-based services and service orchestration layers

• Internal tools and proof-of-concepts that often evolve into real products

• Integration of AI services into existing enterprise systems

• Development of simple dashboards or web interfaces for AI-driven tools

The role involves both backend and frontend development, with backend services, APIs, and integrations forming a core part of the work.

What you will do

• Build and extend API services in a modern backend stack

• Develop web interfaces or dashboards for internal tools and AI services

• Work with AI and computer vision pipelines (model inference, data flow, results processing)

• Prototype, test, and iterate on new technical ideas

• Take ownership of small to medium tasks and deliver them independently

• Collaborate remotely with senior engineers and consultants

• Document findings and communicate clearly in English

What we are looking for

Required

• Professional software development experience (typically 1–5 years)

• Experience building backend services or APIs

• Basic experience with frontend development (JavaScript frameworks or modern web apps)

• Some exposure to AI, machine learning, or computer vision through projects, coursework, or professional work

• Solid programming fundamentals and problem-solving skills

• Ability to work independently with light supervision

• Good spoken and written English

• Availability to work in Western or Central European time zones

Nice to have

• Computer vision experience (OpenCV, YOLO, image pipelines, inference services)

• Python and/or Node.js backend experience

• Frontend frameworks such as React

• Cloud experience (GCP, AWS, containers)

• Experience with experimentation, PoCs, or R&D-style work

Education

A university degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is preferred. It is not a hard requirement, but it is a strong signal of your ability to work through complex problems independently.
