Spa Therapist (Full-Time)
Kempinski Hotel San Lawrenz has an opportunity for a Spa Therapist to join our Spa team. The incumbents in this role is responsible to perform the Spa treatments for the guest as per the predefined Kempinski standards.
Key Responsibilities
• Promote a sense of wellbeing and create a relaxing atmosphere
• Deliver and promote Spa and Beauty Treatments of all kinds as per predefined SPA menu
• Actively participate in and ensure the highest levels of quality service delivery with focus on consistency
• Provide guest with homecare recommendation
• Display passion for the industry and keeping abreast with trends as well as product knowledge at all times
• Perform massage therapy and welcome touch modalities, which include Deep Tissue, Sport, Swedish, Aromatherapy, Prenatal and Reflexology, etc.
• Complete and follow P&P, notes, maintains accurate documentation and filing of client files after each visit
• Conduct consultations, recommends aftercare for clients at home maintenance, and provides guidance and wellness advice to clients
• Maintain the treatment rooms in a neat professional manner including stocking products and linens, cleaning and instrument sterilization. Replaces massage linens on bed so that the room is ready for the next client
• Assists Spa in activities including staff meetings, promotions, clean-up and housekeeping duties. Contributes to self-marketing strategies
• Uphold the standards of sanitation and sterilization as directed by law and the spa’s policies and procedures

Personality requirements and skills
• Massage and beauty recognized certification and experience in a similar role are a MUST, hotels experience is highly preferred.
• Candidate needs to be able to perform all kind of massages, like facial, waxing, manicure, pedicure, etc.
• Eligibility to work in European Union is a MUST (i.e. only European Union citizens can be considered, as work permit is not provided for this position).
• Excellent written and verbal English. Any other languages, especially Maltese, would be considered a plus.
• Candidate needs to be able to perform all kind of massages, like facial, waxing, manicure, pedicure, etc.
• Eligibility to work in European Union is a MUST (i.e. only European Union citizens can be considered, as work permit is not provided for this position).
