About the role
The local Payroll Consultant is responsible for the processing of local Payroll services within local SAP organizations.
As part of the Global Payroll Organisation the Payroll Consultant performs local payroll processes of non- migrated processes, performs SOX controls and executes more complex processes. This role is French Payroll specific.
The Payroll Consultant is the main support for France standard payroll processes and acts as a support for French payroll related topics for local SAP, HR Service Center and external authorities.

Expectations and Tasks
Support SAP France and SAP LABS France payroll
• Perform administrative local tasks
• Perform local tasks to ensure monthly payroll processing
• Support the creation of legal statements
• Support Payroll activities for other departments and external authorities where payroll have an interface
• Provide an escalation point for local-standard cases referred and resolve within agreed service levels
• Support project work as needed, e.g. M&A activities
Deliver customer value:
• Understand Service Level Agreements
• Liaise with third parties (e.g. legal, IT, external providers and local authorities) to ensure payroll processes are valid and reflect legal requirements
• Carry out assigned task in cooperation with HRSC, Payroll Services and Global DMT in Prague according to guidelines and policies described in process handbooks
• Document business and legal changes for knowledge base and handbook updates
• Follow guidelines and policies in managing confidential data
Ensure quality:
• Perform checks on IPP in alignment with business processes for France payroll
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement of operational processes and procedures in payroll
• Perform regular SOX controls where relevant

Requirements for the employee

Candidates with education suit the position

University education (Bachelor's degree)
University education (Master's degree)

Language skills

English - Upper intermediate (B2) and French - Upper intermediate (B2)

Personality requirements and skills

Education and Qualification
• 2-4 years working experience in administration / HR.
• Payroll knowledge - -Training and knowledge transfer will be provided by SAP France consultant and Team Lead
• Experience working within a customer orientated environment preferred
• Strong conversational written and spoken English and French skills
• University degree (University of Applied Sciences)/ Administration / payroll account education or comparable experience
• Local Payroll - legal, tax, social insurance – not essential as training will be provided by the SAP France Payroll Team
• SAP IPP system usage
