Job description, responsibilities and duties

Your Key Responsibilities

Checking and commenting on customer specifications (product development)
Design of mechatronic assemblies’ suitable aluminum and steel alloys (mechanics, hydraulics)
Optimizing design parameters by simulation of tool fulfillment and FE
Design of static and dynamic sealing systems in refrigerant paths
Adaption and integration of bearings, sealings, sensors and further components into a mechatronic system
Design-2-manufacture and application of manufacturing process related designs
Development of new, competitive product solutions for BEVs
Cooperation in the development, verification and validation of series design (DVP*) evaluation of measurement reports for technical release of products and changes for prototype production and serial production
Assessment and evaluation of competing modules (benchmarking)
Creation and maintenance of all necessary technical documents as well as mandatory documents in the Windchill system (PDMLink)

Your Qualifications

Completed studies in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, mechatronics or comparable fields
Very good knowledge of PTC Creo, Windchill PDMLink, SAP and MS Office
Proficient in PTC Integrity/Windchill RV&S and Jira
Professional experience in aluminum (casting and machining) constructions of mechatronic assemblies in the automotive industry
Experience with refrigerant components and media
Very good knowledge of design regulations, standards and directives in the Automotive sector such as Systems Engineering
Good knowledge in the process of development of products (PEP) and management of requirements, configuration, changes and quality according to Automotive SPICE
Very good knowledge of written and spoken English
Enthusiasm to work on future products with a high dedication and take-over of responsibility within the product development
Very good communication skills and ability to work in a team
Willingness to travel abroad (several months of training in Germany)
