Job description, responsibilities and duties
We are looking for professionals for the position of Service Engineer for Slovakia.
You will be responsible for providing system engineering support for our customers in various kinds of industries.
Your key responsibilities will include the following:
• Provide Engineering services and design documentation for Brown Field projects including: preparation of configuration functional design specifications, configuration of Foxboro Distributed Control Systems (DCS) from Control Narratives & P&IDs using Function Blocks, Structured Text and Sequential Function Charts;
• Provide coordination and installation of control systems, coordinating site 3rd parties activities if necessary, working close to Project Manager assuring multiple assigned projects meet their design schedules and budget metrics;
• Perform Front-end Engineering Design Studies, control system configuration (control & graphics), integration of PLCs and field devices, perform FAT, provide site construction/installation and hot cut-over support, perform SAT, Commissioning, Start-Up;
• Maintenance of DCS and/or ESD and Fire & Gas systems;
• Perform upgrade projects to existing assets;
• Various tasks on customer's site according to local management requirements;
• Available for on-call rotation and other system "call-outs" as required.

Personality requirements and skills
• Engineering degree in Automation, Applied informatics, IT, Electrical or mechanical engineering;
• Minimum 4 years of experience in Instrumentation engineering and/or automation systems, preferably in Refining industry;
• Fluent English and Slovak;
• Good understanding of process & control automation;
• PLC/DCS programming experience;
• IT programming knowledge is a plus;
• Control and Instrumentation engineering experience is desirable;
• Willingness to be on-call for after hours support and to travel up to 50% (mainly in Eastern Europe);
• Good communication skills, ability to work alone or as part of a team, flexibility;
• Driving licence.
