Strategic buyer/Strategický nákupca

We are looking for a skilled and experienced employee for the position of Strategic Buyer, who will participate on the construction of nuclear power plant in Mochovce. The main task is to ensure fulfilment of the MO34 purchase of equipment, works and services within project.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Ensures fulfilment of the MO34 purchase of equipment, works and services within MO34 project
2. Develops procurement strategies to optimize the total cost of ownership and in line with the project schedule
3. Selects best sources consistent with cost, quality and delivery requirements
4. Proactively cooperates with the relevant MO34 units in defining technical requirements and specifications to ensure requested quality
5. Manages suppliers relationships within MO34 Project granting time efficiency and cost optimization, minimizing impact due to requests for variation and change orders.
6. Assists internal and external customers by interpreting laws, policy, codes, and regulations pertaining to purchasing
7. Contributes to team effort by accomplishing other job related tasks as needed; enabling other workers to achieve their job objectives.

EXPERIENCES:
• 5+ years of related procurement experience including purchasing, contract negotiation, supply management, supplier relationships
• 2+ years of related procurement experience in a large capital project in the area of electrical or mechanical works
• Contract drafting experience beneficial.
• Working knowledge of the legal aspects of public procurement law
