Information about the position
Job description, responsibilities and duties
We are looking for a skilled and experienced employee for the position of Senior Piping & Layout Specialist, who will act as:
• An expert in all aspects of piping from engineering to construction technologies/management of nuclear or conventional power plant;
• A technical officer, arranging and conducting activities required for the successful and timely delivery of technical documents;
• A technical secretary, planning and leading moderately complex technical meetings;
• An interfaces builder, establishing, developing and maintaining relations with members of other departments and/or suppliers.
Key responsibilities and general tasks:
• Review and approval of detail design issued by Suppliers;
• Dealing with Suppliers about technical issue;
• Issuing technical calculation reports;
• Issuing engineering field disposition;
• Issuing technical specification of piping in-line components;
• Issuing monitoring report of the activities;
• Coordinate, facilitate and attend technical meetings.
Technical competencies:
• Design of piping and tubing routing and pipe support configuration; analysis of feasibility for erection taking into account process condition, thermal expansion, seismic interactions and space management constrains;
• Design and review of weld and bolt connection;
• Knowledge of material used in Nuclear Plant;
• Depth-knowledge in technical principles and developments relating to nuclear licensing process, nuclear quality assurance, test and inspection for nuclear related components;
• At least one of the following knowledge:
o Stress analysis of nuclear safety-related piping system in compliance with ASME codes;
o Stress analysis of nuclear non- safety-related piping system in compliance with EN13480/ASME B31.3;
o Stress analysis of pipe supports and auxiliary steel structures in compliance with EN1993/ASME NF;

• Experience of working in multicultural context;
• Experience in technical writing in English in order to produce and review documents;
• English language spoken and written.
