Job description, responsibilities and duties

The main responsibility is defined as configuration management and operation and maintenance of application and components in different environments (Production, Test & QA) and includes:

• Design and implement build, deployment, and configuration management
• Build and test automation tools for infrastructure provisioning
• Handle code deployments in all environments
• Monitor metrics and develop ways to improve
• Build, maintain, and monitor configuration standards
• Manage CI and CD tools
• Maintaining operational procedures and documentation
• Change management - implementation of change requests and patches to all supported environments including change validation
• Cooperation on business projects, audits and compliance initiatives, cooperation with other teams
• Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity management for managed applications
• Disaster Recovery activities for production systems

Wage (gross)

1 800 EUR/month1800.- € - Our final offer will depend on the seniority of a candidate

Requirements for the employee

Candidates with education suit the position

Secondary with school-leaving examination

Language skills

English - Upper intermediate (B2) and Slovak - Upper intermediate (B2)

Number of years of experience

Personality requirements and skills

- bachelor´s degree or equivalent work experience
- 2+ years of related IT experience
- experience with Linux infrastructures, database SQL (Oracle), CI/CD tools, Git, Maven, Nexus, shell scripting
- configuration of web servers, LDAP, monitoring tools
- experience with management of web applications running in Linux environment (Spring Boot, JBoss)
- up-to-date on the latest industry trends
- managing, owning and driving issues to their successful resolution
