Then you may want to join us in the Equipment Project Management team in Siemens Gamesa. For our Offshore Engineering Equipment department, we are looking for a strong Senior Project Manager to join us in developing and managing projects in our equipment portfolio. The position is a central role in our Equipment Project Management department with the responsibility of executing projects in relation to transport, storage and installation of our key turbine components.

How to contribute to our vision
Our product line is growing and so is the Equipment department. As our Senior Equipment Project Manager in the Offshore Engineering Equipment Project Management department you will execute projects with responsibility for development of equipment to the turbine components both for transport, storage and installation. As Senior Project Manager you are part of scoping the projects and you establish and align deliveries with the key stakeholders throughout the project from start to handover. Your key tasks are to ensure effective delivery of the right solutions in the right quality, motivate your team and perform overall scope management of your project.

As a Senior Project Manager for Equipment you will also be working with:

  • Execute the project within the defined requirements (e.g. budget, time, functionality).
  • Ensures business success and satisfaction of the customer and ensures professional stakeholder management.
  • Manage a network of technical specialists in order to realize customer specific components, systems or solutions.
  • Coordinate the engineering disciplines and the cooperation with involved engineering units including their interfaces.
  • Perform technical risk management and is responsible for the continuous evaluation of risk and opportunities.

A candidate with 10+ Years of experience with project management of complex New Product Development projects with multiple Stakeholders and suppliers. It an advantage, but not a requirement, if you have documented your experience through relevant Project Management certification e.g. IPMA B/C, PMP, Prince2 Foundation/practitioner. Furthermore, you have a proven track record and have strong leadership skills and commercial understanding.
You have a have a B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Engineering. You are a proficient user in Microsoft Office (especially, Excel and Power Point) and have excellent English skills, both orally as well as in writing. Furthermore, you have good interpersonal skills, collaborative and team-oriented mindset. As a person you are a self-driven, fact focused individual who enjoys working in a fast-passed environment with strict deadlines. You approach your assignments analytical and have attention to quality and thrive in an organization with different cultures and people in all organizational levels.
