The Job
For our Offshore Technology department in Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy (SGRE) in Brande, Denmark, we are looking for an experienced and skilled Senior Project Manager to lead the Prototype Delivery Track in our Wind Turbine development projects
As project manager you will lead and engage with key specialists within cross functional domains. In your daily work you will be part of a core project management team that have the overall responsibility delivering our next generation Offshore Wind Turbines. As prototype delivery track responsible your focus is on building, transport, erect and commissioning complete Offshore Wind Turbine prototypes.
The prototype is a key element for testing and validation of new technologies and designs in our product development process, and to retain SGRE’s global market leader position within Offshore Technology.
How to contribute to our vision
You will lead the prototype delivery track involving domains and stakeholders across the business, with full project responsibility in terms of time, cost and quality delivered - from scoping phase until project closure.
You execute with and agile mindset and in accordance with Siemens Gamesa Technology processes and tools , having attention to all aspects together with your team and key stakeholders.
Overseeing the entire prototype delivery project, and covering all project management disciplines, you lead the execution of the prototype delivery and involves with key stakeholders (for example our Manufacturing Innovation center, Construction, Equipment and Transport and others) in a positive and constructive manner.
As an experienced PM, you improve ways of working together with your project team, as well as together with the rest of the organization.
We operate in an organization with a network of agile teams and strive to further develop our organization and ability towards this type of organization and culture. It is an advantage if you have insight or experience with agile principles, and that you are interested in further developing yourself and our organization on these parameters.

To be successful in this role you:
Preferably have a background or experience within project management of technical projects and have a degree in engineering combined with several years of experience of project management, preferable within product development / R&D / Engineering.
Have experience with project management of complex projects with multiple stakeholders and suppliers. It is an advantage if you have documented your experience through relevant Project Management certification (for example IPMA B/C, PMP) and a relevant project track Record.
Have experience working and navigating in a physical prototype and test environment with focus on building large prototype installations.
Possess strong communication skills in English, both orally and in writing
