Specialist for development of group engines

What is your role about?

• Participate in the development of EA211/111, MPI/TSI group engines for the Škoda brand and the parent company in multiple countries, including the EU, China, India, LAH, NAR, and JAR.
• Your responsibilities will include creating conceptual designs for engines, developing engines, implementing and testing engines, performing calculations and simulations, approving engines for mass production, and managing engine development projects on a global scale.
• Ensure HDBT, simulations, and calculations of vehicle technical parameters for the MQB27EU Weiterlauf and MQB27G-Series platforms across all aggregate variants.
• Conduct simulations in the area of aggregate functions and engines within the platform.
• Ensure virtual analysis of aggregates from the perspective of thermodynamics, mechanical, and thermal loads.
• Conduct simulations of conventional and hybrid vehicles, including longitudinal vehicle dynamics and transient modes, and evaluate the impact of technical measures on consumption.
• Collaborate with development departments within the VW group.
• Evaluate simulations and model validations.
• Prepare presentation materials for committees.

What do you need to know and have?

• Completed university education in a technical field (suitable fields: automotive engineering, mechatronics focused on drives, applied mechanics, electrical engineering).
• Proficiency in English (level B2) or German (level B2) for daily communication with international colleagues and suppliers; some of our internal meetings are also conducted in English/German.
• Professional experience: 3-5 years in the field.
