Job description, responsibilities and duties
The role
In our team of consultants, we are looking to strengthen the role of SQL Consultant / Architect for both on-premise environments and for the Azure cloud platform
What will be your workload
• Customer focus - we will rely on you to ensure a comprehensive process on the customer's side, from the initial analysis of the environment, solution / architecture design through smooth implementation / migration, time schedule, documentation to the final handover of a successful project
• Close cooperation with our salespeople and Solution specialists - especially in presentations of database services to our customers, defining the architecture and target solution
• Calculations - estimates of costs for licensing and sale of projects (analysis, migration, implementation, workshops)
• Cooperation with the Technology Services department - ie with our consultants, architects, project managers (locally and globally)

What we need to see from you
• Knowledge of database applications (primarily Microsoft SQL) is very important for us
• Ability to design a new database architecture and IT strategy, including providing best practices and assistance
• Knowledge and ability to design scenarios such as High Availability and Disaster Recovery for on-premise and cloud platforms
• Basic orientation within the products of Microsoft (primary Windows server)
• Basic to advanced knowledge of cloud platforms (preferred Azure - generally PaaS - Microsoft Data Platform, SQL DB, SQL Data Warehouse)
• Understanding infrastructure technology
• We will appreciate previous experience with similar role, experience with designing SQL technical architecture for On-premise and Cloud
• Fluent in Czech/Slovak language and good in the English language.
