Job description, responsibilities and duties

• Develop and execute a plan to grow business from customers in DACH and neighbouring regions or Western / Southern Europe countries
• Educate and guide prospective customers who are considering Solargis solutions
• Quickly learn Solargis product portfolio and confidently present the value proposition of Solargis services
• Cultivate relationships with customers. Understand complex customer requirements, both at technical and business level, and propose meaningful solutions
• Manage an active pipeline of sales opportunities
• Work with the Sales Director on creating a list of prospective customers who are a good fit for Solargis services. Cold outreach to relevant contacts and departments at target customer accounts

Information about the selection process

Solargis seeks account executives who will be developing business in the market of German speaking countries (DACH region) or Western / Southern Europe countries and help them grow. The successful candidate may also be required to support our sales activities in the neighbouring solar energy markets. The successful candidate should either work from Bratislava or remotely from another location in Central Europe.

Requirements for the employee

Candidates with education suit the position

University education (Bachelor's degree)
University education (Master's degree)
Postgraduate (Doctorate)

Language skills

English - Upper intermediate (B2) or German - Upper intermediate (B2)

Personality requirements and skills

University degree
Strong interest in solar energy and IT
Minimum 1 year (and preferably 3+ years) of work experience in a sales role in the DACH or Western / Southern Europe region
Technical aptitude to understand customer problems and propose meaningful solutions. A degree in engineering or science or previous experience with solar energy or technical sales
Relevant examples that demonstrate technical aptitude would be considered
Mature communication skills with capability to present effectively in front of C-level audience
Professional-level German or Spanich or French and excellent English language skills are required.
Experience with B2B SaaS or consultancy services is advantage
