Information about the position
Job description, responsibilities and duties
We are looking for an Account manager who will be responsible for building and fostering relationships with new and existing customers in the UK & Ireland as well as other countries in Europe.
• You will manage relationships with existing customer accounts as well as acquire new customers
• Your focus will be on ensuring high customer satisfaction and helping customers maximize the value
they are deriving from our services
• You will be expected to quickly learn the Solargis product offering so that you understand customer
requirements both of technical and business nature and propose solutions
• Educate and guide prospective customers who are considering Solargis solutions
• Work with Sales Director to create a list of prospective customers, who are a good fit for Solargis
services. You will outreach to relevant contacts and departments at target customer accounts
• Leverage CRM tools to maintain an active pipeline of deals and follow up on timely basis for subscription
renewals.

Personality requirements and skills
• University degree
• Strong interest in solar energy and IT
• Minimum 2 years of work experience in a sales role, business development or account management role in international environment
• Technical aptitude to understand customer problems and propose meaningful solutions. A degree in
engineering/science or previous experience in solar energy/technical sales would be considered as
relevant examples that demonstrates technical aptitude
• Mature communication skills with capability to present effectively in front of technical, business and C-
level audience
• Full proficiency in English language, oral and written, is required
• Experience in solar energy, electricity technology, consultancy services or B2B SaaS business is an
advantage
• Strong interest in solar energy and IT
