Data Analyst/Engineer

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Conduct analysis to drive valuable business insights
- Build intuitive presentations and data visualizations to tell stories with data that convey key performance metrics, significant trends, and relationships across business domains
- Develop new metrics and analytical approaches in collaboration with domain experts
- Lead projects and requests from end-to-end, defining business needs, developing solutions that empower internal teams to operate independently
- Build ETL pipelines
- Data modelling
- Work with Microsoft Azure

Skills:
- Strong SQL skills
- Knowledge of DAX
- Experience with Power BI
- Experience with Databricks is a plus
- Beginner knowledge of ADF is a plus
- Beginner knowledge of Python is a plus

Qualifications:
- 2+ years of relevant work experience in data analytics and/or business intelligence or related field
- Strong analytical skills – with a proficient ability to read/write complex SQL queries for data analysis
- Experience with data visualization tools (Power BI, etc.)
- Strong and effective communication, presentation and written skills and ability to work in global environment
- Collaborative, self-motivated with a desire to lead strategic problem solving, execution and ownership

The role is fully remote with occasional site visit. This role is available as an employment contract or freelance.
