Information about the position

Job description, responsibilities and duties

As an Installation Supervisor, you’ll make a positive contribution to project results. Your main purpose is to build the design from initial conception through to execution. You’ll achieve this by the coordination, management, and execution of assigned work in alignment with Installation and Commissioning (I&C) function objectives, priorities, and methods.

Success in this role will depend on your ability to take overall responsibility for all activities conducted at your site. This also includes being accountable for the quality and completion of installations in the areas you are assigned to.

Reporting to the Project Manager, you’ll be working on a variety of projects of all sizes. For example, small projects require a lone supervisor. For much larger projects, you may be working as a site manager responsible for up to three supervisors.

Responsibilities include:

• Project site plan update
• SPX team coordination including SPX contractors in relation to the customer
• SPX third parties site administration
• Communication on site
• Site cost control
• Implementation and compliance with the site EH&S plan
• Project documentation management
• Weekly reporting to the Project Manager and the Process Engineer

Due to the nature of the role, you can expect to spend at least 80% of your time travelling to our various sites around the EU, although some travel further afield may be involved.
