Stein Seal Company, established in 1955 in Philadelphia, USA, is engaged in the engineering and manufacturing of sophisticated mechanical shaft seals used in the aerospace, nuclear, chemical, petrochemical, and marine industries. Stein Seal Czech s.r.o. is Stein Seal Company’s latest expansion creating the first production facility in Europe. This new facility is supporting production and overhaul work for Stein Seal’s substantial customer base throughout Europe, with focus on the aerospace industry.

Job offer

We are looking for:Accountant+Payroll clerk (US comp. - HR department)

Possible WORK ONLY FOR 4 HOURS per day - Monday to Friday - possible PART-TIME

Maintains office services by organizing office operations and procedures; controlling correspondence; designing filing systems; reviewing and approving supply requisitions; assigning and monitoring clerical functions. Payroll for whole company. Assisting during onboarding and exit process with employees.

Majority of time will be spent in an office environment but with regular exposure to a manufacturing environment involving noise and fumes.

ABOUT POSITION:

• comprehensive bookkeeping associated with the operation of the manufacturing company
• complete processing of accounting operations (received invoices, issued invoices, warehouses, bank, travel orders)
• processing of monthly tax returns (VAT incl. Control report, according to Czech legislation)
• separate processing of monthly accounts
• recording and accounting of fixed assets
• processing of monthly financial statements, checking of accounts
• cooperation with an external accounting firm in the preparation of annual accounts
• petty cash management
• payroll processing
• travel statements
• organizing of receipts
• communication with authorities (MSSZ,ZP,Fú,ÚP)
• processing of income tax returns Fo, Road taxes
• processing of statistical reports
• inventories of warehouses and stocks

HR - onboarding, exit, all HR documentation, law needs, payroll, legal specifications, attendance + absence documents etc.


REQUIREMENTS, QUALIFICATION:

  • Advanced command of English language (oral and written) - B2 English (Upper Intermediate) or higher
  • Essential computer skills, specifically MS Office
  • ERP knowledge, experience with Helios software is an advantage.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Effective communication and negotiating skills.
  • very good knowledge of Czech accounting and tax regulations
  • University degree or Secondary education in economic direction with a school-leaving examination (focus on finance and accounting, human resources is an advantage)
  • Proven experience in a similar position for at least 5 years
  • Advanced knowledge of working with MS Office, knowledge of Helios Orange program is a great advantage
  • Thoroughness, independence, reliability, loyalty
  • Communicative knowledge of English
