Job description, responsibilities and duties
Job definition:
* Serves as primary support of network operations by managing customer devices and end-to-end services. Asses source of the problem, severity justification, perform basic checks and engage responsible team if needed.
* Ticket ownership, resolve and close incidents.
* Basic technical overview of all supported technologies and vendors (Cisco, F5, Checkpoint, etc.).
* Network elements monitoring, fault identification and management.
* Performance reporting and monitoring. Acting based on proactive reports to avoid network issues in the future.
* Engages and coordinates equipment and service vendors, local site contacts and WAN providers to support network operations.
* Responds to and may implement client requests and notifies them about network issues and possible impact to customer's business.
* Acts on client's behalf in handling specific network requirements.
