Job description, responsibilities and duties

General description
Plan, lead and control Project of Central Problem Management process with focus on prevention of Incidents.
Managing and coordinating the analysis of the underlying root causes behind the incidents and defining the measures that contribute to the overall improvement of the IT processes.

Handle major and high cases according to zero outage principles and T-System’s internal problem management process
Handle special medium cases if assigned
Perform other duties as assigned by functional supervisor
Decision making about steps to solve a problem
Retain overall responsibility and ownership of problems until the problem is closed
Produce and present Management information about processed cases
Co-ordinate a rapid and effective cross-sectional response to major/high and requested medium incidents including escalation, follow-through or resolution advice and closure
Conduct detailed analyses of data gathered via the Service Management process in order to identify underlying issues and to develop effective responses aimed at improving or eliminating such issues
Work with third-parties and technical teams to proactively identify potential problem management tickets
Managing the work of problem support staff (First-, Second- and Third level)
Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures

•University education (Bachelor’s or Master’s degree )
•Experience in large, complex and international projects

•English: min. C1 – mandatory
•German: advantage
•Knowledge of Quality Management (e.g. KPI reporting, Management systems, Excellence programs, Quality tools)
•Telekom IT processes, in particular related to the use cases Demand-to-Solution and Request-for-Fulfillment
•Strong analytical skills
•Interpersonal, communication and report writing skills
•Ability to manage virtual teams within a delivery organization
