Job description, responsibilities and duties

General description
-Plan, lead and control Project of Central Problem Management process with focus on prevention of Incidents.
-Managing and coordinating the analysis of the underlying root causes behind the incidents and defining the measures that contribute to the
overall improvement of the IT processes. Participating in Application Expert -Group for TOP Applications of Telekom IT.

-Driving the efficiency and effectiveness of the Problem management process.
-Producing management information.
-Managing the work of Problems support staff (first-, second- and third line).
-Monitoring the effectiveness of Problem Management and making recommendations for improvement.
-Overall control of the process-conformity of problem tickets.
-Decision making about steps to solve problem.
-Communication with customer and top management.
-Route Cause Analyses and derivate actions towards permanent removal of problem worldwide as well as provision of lessons learned in
respective corporate communication media.

University education (Bachelor's degree)
University education (Master's degree)
Postgraduate (Doctorate)

Language skills

English - Upper intermediate (B2) and German - Upper intermediate (B2)

Personality requirements and skills


-University degree

-2 years’ experience within the IT field or communication/negotiation with customers about quality issues

-English – B2
-German – B2

Experience in large, complex and international projects
Very good practical and knowledge skills of project management methods
Practical knowledge of Quality Management
ITIL methodology (basics) and Kepner Tregoe methodology
Telekom IT processes, in particular related to the use cases Demand-to-Solution and Request-for-Fulfilment.
