Information about the position

Job description, responsibilities and duties

- Develop new programs, components and functionalities for Systems Applications and Products in Data Processing (SAP) applications to fulfil customer’s demand
- Debug SAP program code to find and fix issues and recover the original functionality

Accountabilities
- Analyse the demand from the customer for SAP application customization/development to propose an appropriate solution and realization
- Consult with module consultant and solution designer and propose the technical design of the new components for SAP applications
- Develop new components for the customer’s application and/or completely new applications to satisfy customer’s demand
- Debug programming code to find issues/errors on the application
- Change and repair the code to restore the original functionality of application
- Document changes on the system and design of new components to ensure their readability for future reference
- Test newly added functionalities to avoid errors on productive system
- Works on tasks independently

English - Upper intermediate (B2)

Personality requirements and skills

Experience
- Up to 5 years’ experience within the field of Advanced Business Application Programming (ABAP) programming

- Understanding of business environment and Information technology (IT), processes, organization, implications of changes
- Sound experience with SAP R/3 software
- Proficiency in ABAP, ABAP Object Oriented (OO), SAP Dialog programming, SAP reports
- Analytical skills, ability to perform in complex IT environment
- Customer oriented, initiative and enthusiastic,
- Results oriented, able to complete task on time under pressure
- Good communication and presentation skills
- Works on assigned tasks independently

Advantage:
- In depth knowledge of at least one of the required modules
- In depth knowledge of business processes in the particular area
- Knowledge of SMARTFORMS
- Knowledge of ADOBE FORMS
- Web Dynpro ABAP, Business Server Page (BSP)
