Information about the position

Job description, responsibilities and duties

•Application administrator is responsible for high quality end-to-end service operation based on the application level

•Operative interface between Information Technology (IT) service manager, customer, development, Vendors and other delivery units (Operating Systems (OS), Networking)
•Create, check, execute and solve tickets (Change, Incident and Problem Management tickets, Delivery Orders) in order to maintain service to customers according to given quality Key performance indicators (KPI’s)
•Responsible for incident, problem, change, escalation management and operational documentation
•Responsible for customer-driven and / or technical changes during service lifecycle
•Responsible for change approval in face of all Change Advisory Boards
•Responsible for functional steering of whole service chain from medium to complex applications/services
•Mentor Junior Administrators to spread knowledge level in the team and develop their skills
•Act as the key technical lead, solve and coordinate activities across related technologies/outside own team
•Accountable for service asset- and configuration management
•Responsible for capability planning to fulfill enhanced application management requirements
•Responsible for technical concepts (create, check and manage)
•Perform deployments of new releases based on Request for Comments (RfCs)
•Perform troubleshooting on various levels (Application, Middleware, Database, OS, Networking)

Personality requirements and skills

•Preferable Technical High school degree or several years of experience or equivalent training with detailed expertise of Information and communication technology (ICT)

•2+ years in ICT
•Trainings in given technologies (Linux and Windows Servers)
•Technical overview in OS, Network, Storage, Backup, Databases, Middleware
•Knowledge of Middleware: e.g. Apache Tomcat, Apache Hypertext Transfer Protocol (HTTP) Server

•Communication skills
